Today we took a quiz over chapters 25 and 26 from Huck Finn.
We read chapters 27 and 28. Some of this was done in class, but the rest should be done at home.

We spent about 40 minutes in class working on our second piece of writing for our multi-genre essay. Today's writing was poetry. A couple of guided brainstorming activities were available for this assignment.
Jan 12/13: Quiz over 25 & 26 Read chapters 27 & 28. Work time on poetry piece for final essay.
January 14/ 15: B day take home grammar test. Quiz for cha 27 & 28. Read chapters 29 & 30. Work time given for final essay.
January 16 & 20: Quiz ch 29/30. Read chapters 31/32. Multi-genre essay due. Take home convention test.
January 21 & 22. Final over Huck Finn chapters 1-32 for all classes except 2A.
January 23: Final over Huck Finn chapters 1-32
