Introduce the final paper of Great Gatsby. It is a multi-genre essay.
Five pieces are required.
One piece must by a character study. I will show how to do this next class.
One piece must be an American Dream journal. We will give writing time and directions in two class days. Writing prompts can be found a the bottom of this blog.
The other three pieces will be your own choice. You can act out a scene, alone or with others. I would want the length of the scene to be about one minute multiplied by the number of actors you have. Three people should go about three minutes.
Ideas: Character journal, jury trial, connection to a poem, write a rap or a song, make a comic strip with dialogue.
No Wanted Posters or Job Applications this time. If you have an idea that is creative and requires work, it will probably be acceptable.
